Malcom has correct, balanced, uphill, sport-horse build. Fjord horses come in many types. It is important to preserve all types, but what do you want to do with your Fjord? If you are interested in dressage, jumping, or driving, then an athletic uphill conformation will improve your chances of success in competition as well as make your day to day ridng or driving more enjoyable..

Temperament
Even though he is a stallion, Malcom has the unflappable "what me worry" attitude that makes Fjords so easy to work with, while still maintaining a good work ethic. He is calm, not lazy.

Bloodlines
Malcom is a son of Gjest, one of the most well known stallions in North America. He is a product of the "magic cross" (Gjest X Stine) which has produced many outstanding performance horses.

Performance
Good conformation plus good temperament results in a horse capable of the performance you want. At his previous home malcom had been ridden only a little and never shown. We are now starting him in dressage and the results are impressive after only a few rides. We don't know what the end result will be, but we think it will be fun to find out. We know that giving Malcom more training won't change the already high quality of his genes, but we hope it will convince a few people of his quality.

How to Arrange a Breeding to Malcom
We will accept a limited number of mares for live cover at our small farm in Jamul. Malcom is also licensed with NFHR for AI by transported semen. We had him evaluated by Dr. Richard Tramp to ensure that his cooled semen is of good quality. The result were excellent, even after 48 hours in the equitainer.
