Malcom's Kids

BraveHeart (registered name Brynjar) is proud to be mentioned as a Malcom’s son.  Braveheart was Grand Champion Gelding at Blue Earth. For most of this summer, though, BH and his owner Kay Van Natta concentrated on CDEs (combined driving events) “which really are a lot of fun and also a good chance to take a Fjord into all-breed competition.  We competed in the Training Level-Single Pony division since it's the first year for both of us.  We got an overall third at Metamora MI and, later, firsts at both Iron Horse in IL and the Indiana CDE in Edinburgh IN.  It was a lot of fun and I think BH likes it too...it's a lot more interesting than driving around in arena circles all day.”

WH Stone Malcom’s son WH Stone is an approved breeding stallion. He received a score of 81.5 at his 2003 evaluation. This is a “blue ribbon” score, evidence of his suitability as a breeding stallion and of Malcom’s ability to produce son’s of his same high quality. Stoney was also reserve champion at the 25th anniversay show. Wh Stone stands at Iduna Acres Fjords. (idunacres @aol.com)

Disa Malcom’s daughter Disa,age 6,earned a 65% in her very first dressage show. We are hoping to hear more good things about her soon. She is shown here at the Northern Ohio Dressage Association Champion Show. Marion her owner says Disa, known as Daisy is a terrific horse. Marion learned to ride on a Malcom son, Tommy.

Tommy Malcom’s son Tommy (on the left) is driven by Nancy Roemer. His younger brother Trygve is waiting to grow up and join him in an all Malcom pair. Nancy says Malcom horses are different - they have nice self carraige and that makes them easier to ride or drive.

Flika and Froy Flika (top) and Froy (below) These 2 lovely daughters are owned by Jon and Nancy Roemer. They show the lovely heads and correct conformation of all of Malcom’s children. They are destined to be outstanding in their field.
